The staff at Ozbestos are highly trained, and skilled and hold both Class A and Class B licences. They are not limited and are permitted to perform all aspects of asbestos removal. Whether it is a Friable (may crumble and turn to powder by hand) or Non-Friable (asbestos fibres held with a solid substance such as cement and may not crush easily) matter.
Class B licences are only allowed to do work involving the removal of non-friable asbestos or dust contaminated with asbestos-caused by removing non-friable asbestos.
Class A licences are allowed to carry work involving jobs in Class B and work involving friable asbestos-contaminated dust.
Ozbestos have the correct equipment to use on the job site and are all High Risk (H Class), whether it’s vacuum cleaners, negative air pressure units and or decontamination units.
Asbestos is dangerous to your health if not correctly removed and disposed of immediately. It is a natural mineral with microscopic particles and can be found in fibre cement sheeting and piping to brake pads in vehicles. Once exposed to asbestos dust, these micro fibres can get caught inside your lungs, causing severe health illnesses such as cancer, even many years after the exposure. Once exposed to these tiny particles, asbestos may cause lung issues such as inflammation, scarring and cancer.
